Is there some bug still or weird interaction on 9.3.4 science path - I'm taking burst damage instead

Howdy all.

In trying to run my full 9.3 exploration I've come across probably the most annoying and frustrating paths I've encountered so far.

According to these nodes - there shouldn't be any interactions where I'M taking the burst damage instead of the defender, but on three different occasions with 3 different champs fighting 3 different defenders, I have been dealt a huge burst of damage after their special (frequently killing me), instead of it damaging them.

What is going on and did anyone else have this issue? I've noticed some people on various YouTube videos have commented it's happened to them too back 3 months ago when the content first became available.

Why are you commenting when there's no way you've done this content and you aren't adding any useful info.

To answer the original question, I don't remember having that issue. Did you have them backed up against the wall so they are debuff immune? Wondering if that is what causes the burst damage to apply to you. Are there more nodes than in the screenshot? I did this when it first came out so don't recall

Anyways you can upload a video. I just did the forest three fights and didn't notice any burst damage on myself.

Sounds good - I powered through before I saw this, but I will definitely try running a few fights again when I have time to try to replicate it!
