Pulled a 7* Punisher! lets go

I pulled a 7* Punisher from one of those Jubilant crystals or whatever they're called, i know very little about his buff but I r3'd and awakened him immediantly. What are your thoughts on him, I've seen he's more of a defender and im not too fond of his attacking play style but how meta is he rn?. r3'ing him also made 25 of 30 of my battegrounds champs 7* r3 or higher yay.

I tested him and he's meh. Like Idk his purpose. Bleed with no backup in big 25😭. Think ain't even that hard in defense. No counter against evade or miss. His impact doesn't really make any impact If you hit on block. Or am I just playing him wrong? Why tf the first hit of his special needs to hit the opponent to trigger his impact that makes no sense. He couldn't even throw specials on block.

7* dropped out of one of my crystals and took him straight to R3, may take to R4.
