BANQUET JUBILANT CRYSTAL DROP

What is the drop rate of Jubilant Crystals per Superior Banquet Grace Crystals opened? I'm seeing on a youtube account 1 Jubilant Crystal is guaranteed for every 15 Superior Banquet Grace Crystals, same in the Banquet 2025 infographics but in my game it says "Guaranteed Jubilant Crystal Within 6 Crystals. I got curious because I popped x20 Superior Banquet Grace Crystals and only got 1 Jubilant Crystal so now I'm confused.

Yes, that counter goes down every time you don't pull a jubilant crystal. It means you opened 9 SBCs with no jubilant, and if you open 6 more with no jubilant you will get it guaranteed in the next one.

Note that if you pull one before the next 6 it will reset to 15

Math. And you can actually tell from that (since you’ve only hit 1 so far) exactly what # opening it was that you got that 1 Jubilant crystal.

As you had been opening then, the # listed was going down each time, until you happened to pull a Jubilant (and NO, yours was not from reaching the max of 15 tries).

So you’ve opened another 9 crystals since getting lucky with your Jubilant.

So if you’ve opened 20 so far, it would have been on your 11th crystal where you got the Jubilant initially (4 shots earlier than when the guarantee would have kicked in).

I imagine how the game does this if you open in bulk (?? can you pop 10 at a time ?) that it still treats them as being opened individually (as far as WHICH one of the 10 it is that pulls any Jubilant). Even if you only see the grand total of all 10 all together.

ok cool, between your explanation @SummonerNR and @spiderknight616 explanation I think I understand. on a side note, I bought x10 crystals first and opened them one at a time, then opened x4 crystals from the milestones one at a time then bought another x10 crystals and opened them one at a time. So I catually opened 24 crystals. I think I'm gonna do bulk openings carrying on

Yes, the game opens crystals one at a time, even if you open in batches. It has to, because each crystal has independent random odds. There’s no way to short cut the process and jump directly to what ten crystals should drop all at once, except by rolling them one at a time. So the game servers roll them individually, add the results together, and then display that to the player. But under the hood, the game knows which crystal if any generated a Jubilant dro, and therefore what the streak counter should display afterwards.

Incidentally, the long term average for Jubilant crystals is about 11%. However, that’s only when looking at large numbers of crystals. It’s the statistical average of the 7.77% chance per crystal to drop a Jubliant combined with the 100% chance of dropping a Jubilant after 14 misses. You won’t see 11% in a batch of ten, say. If you just saw a Jubliant recently and the grace system is off, you’ll see 7.77%. But if you open 15 or more, you will start to see something closer to 11% as the grace system is guaranteed to start kicking in.

I got 4 of them out of 10 SBCs. I dunno the odds of that, but I ain't opened any since.
