Which tech would you R4 first? Solvarch or Nimrod

Looks like I’m about to have the mats to take up another tech.

I had originally planned to take up Solvarch - but managed to pull Nimrod this weekend and have the ability to awaken him. Solvarch is the better defender, and can take some tough matchups (Captain Britain, Jean, Onslaught). That said, Nimrod also takes Captain Britain and almost every other mutant ex Onslaught but faster.

Thoughts? May just being nostalgic about Nimrod but he still melts stuff in the right matchups.

Solvarch feels better, has less counter and can also take some annoying mutants, nimrod is really good on attack, but knowing kabam they'll be another BS onslaught level defender that's immune to shock and it's lights out.... Honestly Go for who you'll use the most they both have pros and cons

But if you enjoy Nimrod more, go with him. It is a game and have to enjoy it.

If you play bgs.. solvarch is better dual threat, nimrod has zero defensive value in current meta.
