Kicked from an alliance I joined for banquet before the timer when I can join ended for no reason😢

Anyone else? It pisses me off especially because there doesn't seem to be any reason. I thought the alliance I joined is chill. Oh well, never again. Putting trust in people has always been the biggest mistake in my life and I don't know why I expected any different in this game. Gotta buy SBCs without being in an alliance ig

It sucks. Hopefully you can find an alliance now. Joining right before Banquet has always been iffy as you don't know if they're sleezeballs.

I’m sorry man that sucks, if you want an alliance after the event we’re pretty chilled we just got some members recently who joined emptied all their units before the timer ran out and haven’t been participating in war or quests…

they might have seen 0 points toward Event so far (which would make sense if you hadn’t reached 14 days yet).

But did you let them know in chat that you were still waiting for your 14 days first (as opposed to not doing anything) ? To avoid what just happened with them kicking you ?

Still, alliances shouldn’t really kick during Banquet

Seems like you did not actively communicate with the alliance or participate in AW which involves free banquet crystals

There were 8 players who did not play in the first AW which affected free banquet crystals

I left messages and no one responded

I ended up kicking 2 out of those 8 before banquet to give a warning to everyone

We still hit all the alliance banquet milestones easily

Ok, I should've asked what I needed to do, I was not aware I need to play war beforehand. I thought banquet is only buying and opening crystals

Any decent alliance knows the score with how banquet works and will have even let him know not to open crystals until his timer is up.

Joining an alliance just for banquet is always a risk as this stuff happens every year from the **** alliances out there

You should always communicate. There are 30 people in an alliance, with many people coming and going in an open alliance ( which it sounds like you were). It's hard to keep track of who's who if it's not an established one. You should also always communicate and ask for expectations as soon or before you join

So many players are just riding on the coattails of others who play and claim the rewards

There is a bunch of free banquet crystals from playing AW and players just need to move to the last node for 50 points without the need to fight any defenders and still many players aren’t doing that for the alliance

this is neither here nor there. Where in this thread does it specify that the alliance leader tried to communicate ? When people joined our alliance just before banquet we made sure they were aware they’d have to wait etc and then let them join, we also told them if they want to stay they have to participate in war.

This is something alliances do you don’t just invite someone and then kick them after giving zero instructions. But you’re just basing an assumption that the leader communicated? Where has that come from?

I dont think @JESUSCHRIST is OP's alliance leader - he was just providing OP with an example of what happens when you join an alliance and dont know/ask/follow their rules and get kicked.

Yes I did kick 2 players right before banquet

The first one wasn’t active in game and did not reply to messages

The second one joined my alliance right before banquet and also wasn’t active in game

My alliance description already says we play AW so there’s no excuse

There were 8 players not helping out in AW to get the free banquet crystals even though there was 48 hours to move to the last node for 50 points without the need to fight any defenders

We had all the defenders taken care of and it was all I asked of from those 8 players, we ended up losing 400 points in the free banquet crystals alliance event

I had to pick the least active players to kick to send a serious message to the rest, start playing or be kicked

It’s not fair that the majority are playing while the minority collect rewards without doing anything

Every year without fail, my alliance hit all the milestones for the alliance banquet event, I lead a quality alliance that provides every members with all the rewards but there are some members who aren’t able to take advantage of the alliance banquet event bcos they can’t reach the individual requirement for the alliance banquet event

I also do not kick members with no units for banquet, they had months to save up units for banquet yet they do not do so, I keep them in the alliance knowing full well they will affect the alliance banquet points

Being a nice leader in mcoc has a cost, good players get discouraged and leave the alliance for more active alliances bcos they are frustrated by how many members who do not actively play the game

So the next time anyone gets kicked, it’s most probably you are the problem, not the leader

this just happened to me after dropping over 21k units in the banquet event I was mid fight in aq and got kick for no reason I’m one the most active players in that alliance now I get no rewards
