Are the big thing force charges considered buffs

Just wondering if these are considered buffs because I'm using my titania against nico like I always do and I'm some how getting poisons on me on node 2

They are not buffs. Your problem is the part of Nico's kit where anytime the opponent is immune to a buff they get hit with a poison. Anytime you dex or get a placebo buff you're gonna hurt. You don't want to use buff immune champs against a duped Nico unless they are also poison immune.
