I hate Coliseum

The 1st part of the concept wasn’t bad: “clear as many bars as you can within time limit”.

BUT the whole podium upgrade thing is a torture!!!!!! Boring, mindless and sucks out all of my enjoyment (not counting the time….). I’ll do the bare minimum to get the star-lord piece of piece and hope the format will NEVER came back again!

I enjoy the different game mode, and the utility of champs like Anti-Venom, Mr. Knight, and Crossbones to take down Nefaria. No one is forcing you to play Coliseum.

You're both right. The game mode is fun! Trying out lots of different champs is fun! Leveling up your podiums by doing the same fight dozens of times is mind-numbingly dull and very time consuming.

There’s no way that’s your response to someone giving feedback about the mode “no one is forcing you to play” that doesn’t mean we can’t give our opinion on the product we just received. I like everything about it but the podium myself its either consume a bunch of time or spend.

I don’t think the podiums add anything to the game mode: everyone who enjoys repeating the fight could still replay it endlessly trying to set a new best score, while every one who has stuff to do IRL during holidays could give his/her best shot and go out having fun. I really don’t see how podiums upgrade brings value.

Coliseum per se isn’t bad imho, it’s the podium grind that makes it un-fun while bringing nothing to the table.

besides that, I’m really thankful for your advice: I did my 3 fights, got enough for the starlord piece and now I’ll go back to the ski-lift ❤️

the podiums are only a grind if you’re trying for certain milestones. I think I reached the star lord piece with 2 podiums at level 2. About a half hour.

I have the same complaint about the coliseums in general. While fun to put up high scores, the grind to rank podiums in such a short amount of time is painful and unfun. If podium leveling was removed and only high scores mattered, this would be very fun. The monetization of these coliseums makes it grindy and akin to arena.

If Kabam want to encourage regular gameplay, couldn't they put Podium tokens in the Daily/Weekly events, or calendars or something?

i like the concept as well.

Get to practice against a tough opponent over and over with multiple champs.

(kind of like the test server that is in no way an unfair advantage to those that have access to it).
