Toad is already pretty good, and he’s getting a buff. So I have pretty high hopes that he will be good. It reminds me of sinister, but I’m not expecting a sinister level change

So far the saga chase champions have all been free. No reason to believe he will be any different.

Sometimes the buffs end up making them worse. IMO Hawkeye was better before his buff🤨

You’re not wrong. But that Hawkeye “buff” was a long time ago. Based off of recent tune ups (see Mr. Sinister, Cull Obsidian, Anti-venom, I could keep going) that are much more indicative of how they are currently thinking about buffs, we have much more reason to be optimistic than pessimistic. Especially since toad is already pretty good. So Hawkeye is a bad example
