Pavitr and Lizard and all new champs following them are going to be automatically eligible for ascension, basically stat increases. For Pavitr and Lizard you don't even have to buy the ascension resources, Kabam is just going to send them to you in the mail.

I’d probably do Pav, because of the ascension potential, high prestige and the fact that he slaps in general.

can’t go wrong with your options, although personally I’d avoid Venom because of the terminally low prestige. And of course, prestige isn’t everything but it’s not nothing either.
