Update is live.. what's happened to JT then?

Joaquin Torres was supposed to have been buffed? Can't see any changes in his kit at all, or is this another patriot scenario, nearly a years wait for next to absolutely naff all??

This graphic is missing one change. His Trauma Debuffs had their duration increased from 12 seconds to 15 seconds.

Feels like not a lot of change, for the wait. But I guess he'll be slightly better in general; and at least he won't be completely useless against Skill champions and others with Slow immunity (Destroyer and Ultron).

Can't say that I expect to witness a flood of r4 Joaquin Torres videos on YouTube, though...

Woh what a "Buff" a few numbers change here or there and how does that materialised in gameplay…can bare see the different. That took a year, a full year!

While Spider Woman, took less than 3 months and removing one of her key abilities.

Then close the program just in time to save Dark Phoenix. The Banquet was amazing, but this, this still taste bitter.

Multiple things can be true: The changes make the kit better than it was.

But.

I try to see the good in almost every kit/buff. It’s rare when I can’t find anything to talk about that I think could be good or useful.

This is just one of those kits where I either don’t understand it well enough — which is possible — or it possibly has some foundational problems that just can’t be fixed to align with where this game is, now in 2026.

IDK. I do hope there’s something good in there and I just don’t understand it well enough to realize it.

They are buffed. Technically. By definition. They did get better. Slightly. To be fair Toad didn't need as much, but I honestly hate that I really liked Deathless Vision and Joaquin.

For those comparing things to Patriot's buff. I would say that the quality of these buffs is similar to Patriot's (Patriot's is maybe a tiny bit better), but Patriot was a much better champ to begin with.

This is just lazy on Kabam's part, having to wait six months for a few number tweaks that barely make any difference is actually insane. At least Deathless Vision is a little smoother to play, but this Falcon's "buff" is just ridiculous

I just can't get over the fact it took sooooooooo long, why?????? It's literally tiny text changes.. Is it a tactical thing because People might forget him, and get used to other newer champs or what..

I was hoping the potency of his traumers increased, but cap was lower (but still with a total net potency increase, plus allows for much faster ramp too) and 2-3 debilitates counter miss.… There a far better buff than what he got and just as small..

They haven't been working on just this buff for a year though, thats a mindset issue. I agree the timing window could have been shorter but they've been working on tons of new stuff so for all i know it does take that long for someone to have enough time to sit and do it.

I also the amount of changes being an issue is a mindset thing. Patriot is objectively better because he didn't need that much, and in my testing joaquin is better too

I also don't see a lot of people with r4 jabari panthers, doesnt mean she isn't a great champion. I could care less on who people use because the champion quality isn't based on
