EQ Elder Locked?

Am I going crazy or didn't they talk about no longer needing to complete a lane of classic before going on to elder? Tried searching for thread but couldn't find anything so maybe I'm just losing it.

It's been mentioned, but nothing's changed. Initial classic clear still required

iirc, they said something like they can't work on it until the new year. So who knows when they'll actually change it.

Also in elder 2.1 there are 2 human torch defenders one in the start and one the middle 👀🔥👀
