Founder's War Key Question

So my alliance today just completed the final milestone in the "bigger things" event and in the three superior banquet crystals, I got a jubilant crystal which in turn, got me a founder's war banquet key. But since I am a few days too late, the box is now gone. My question is: Will there be a way in the future to use the key or does it now collect dust in my inventory?
