What an absolute waste of time and units. Didn’t notice it contained valiant crystals (modern day premium crystals) if I had them I would have wasted my units as it was guaranteed to drop that. Save your units, definitely not worth it.

It is absolutely worthwhile if you need a piece for Deathless Vision because you get added guaranteed value from your 5k units or potentially save units pulling the piece earlier. If you don't need the piece or don't intend to spend the full 5k units, then yeah, don't buy it because it will never be worth it.

if I was willing to spend 5k on one piece I’d get it from the deathless store. After most people have just used all their units in banquets adding something as poor as the valiant crystal is just money making gimmick to make people spend. I wonder how many people pull that on their first 500

It doesn't matter when they pull it if they're spending until they get the piece. That is literally the entire purpose of the offer - added value for the piece. They're not trying to con anyone but you out of 500 units for Valiant crystals.

valiant aren’t random. They are just like old premium crystals. I can’t remember last time I had anything other than a 5* out of them and 5* are pointless now

It's designed so that the people that do want/need the pieces get more value out of their 5k units than just buying the piece out right with an outside shot of getting it for less. So you only do the boxes if you're willing to do the full 5k from the start.

No, it's about the whole package for 5k units which contains more than just valiant crystals. So go and spend the remaining 4.5k units and get your deathless vision (piece)
