I like Fantasma, but I think we should vote for Pork Grind for an important non-joke reason.

I’ll keep it simple, the Mystic Class is so stacked. There’s Pavitr, there’s Nico, there’s soon to be a fantastic buffed up Dr. Strange, soon the rework for Ghost Rider is coming. The Skill class is by far the weakest class in the game. It needs more love, and if where being honest, Skill champs, in terms of characters in the comics are also probably the least exciting as well. It should be Pork Grind.

I actually disagree. I feel mystic is lacking with 7* offensive champs. I think skill has a number of great and underrated options at the top end of the class. Perhaps the mid tier and lower is a larger proportion than that of the mystic class, but still I think mystic needs a boost in quality champs every bit as much as skill does.

It is in fact skill. I thought it would be cosmic as well, so I was leaning more towards Fantasma, but it is skill, confirmed.

Hard disagree on that mystic class has Nico, Pav, Kushala, Abs, Spiral, Shathra, Werewolf, Tigra, Jane, Hood and now Doctor Strange all of them are currently meta champs for BGs (that is of course ignoring some that used to be insane like Rintrah and Juggs who fell off purely because of defensive kits being insane these days). Skill class has CB, Franken, Mantis, Okoye, Valk, Stealthy and Lumatrix (maybe KP but that's a bit of a stretch because Inequity makes him very slow for most matchups) rest are mid or decent but nothing that really makes you think wow this class is crazy.

You could definitely make an argument for the defenders because the mystic class is probably the worst class in terms of defenders and there is no denying that but when it comes to attack, skill is easily at the bottom. So the question is, y'all really wanna vote for Fantasma so we get another Serpent level defender? Because another op mystic attacker that does the exact same things the mystics I already mentioned above do wouldn't make much sense to me, it just sounds boring and lame. We just got Doctor Strange, and we're getting Ghost Rider soon who you can bet will be a Dark Phoenix counter with his fate seal/damnation and probably nova flame immunity.

Anyways yeah mystic fatigue is real, I'm going Pork Grind.

That’s just exactly it dude. I like Fantasma, won’t be disappointed at all if she wins (mystic is my favorite class, by far) but it’s just not what the game needs. A Skill spider hunter sounds great to me.

I actually really @ItsClobberinTime idea about Pork being fully power-sting immune. I don’t think that’s anywhere in the game and will obviously have really good uses outside of SW. Hope they include they (TBH, as soon as he said that I instantly was pretty convinced that might happen).

Chee, Bullseye, Nick, Yalena, Moleman, Shang, Hit Monkey, BWDO, Black Cat, BPCW, Mr. Knight, plus the punisher rework and we’ll see how this new StarLord is. You left off quite a few skill options there that still carry weight. I will say your argument has convinced me that if Fantasma loses, I’ll def go with the Skill Pig - your concept of Sting immunity would be great. I had originally thought Colossus looked cool but just can’t bring myself to vote along the same lines as that pixie guy.

Not sure what league in BGs you play but for me personally Mole-Man, Chee, Hit-Monkey, Shang and Black Cat are all meta reliant you don't use them that often unless there's something juicing up their damage. Mr. Knight and BWDO are as mid as it gets either all damage or all utility but not both. Nick, Yelena and Bullseye are strictly defenders. BPCW is the only one from that group you mentioned that is actually meta relevant, the rest not really.

I'm not saying skill class doesn't have decent options cause the ones you mentioned are decent, but they aren't carrying the whole skill class in the same way the mystics I mentioned are carrying the mystic class mainly because they work for matchups even outside of the cosmic class, Nico cooks Red Skull, Pav can cook Bullseye, Werewolf can handle Capt. Britain, Jane can do Zola, Abs can take Attuma and so on. None of the skills you mentioned have that kind of reach against other classes other than BPCW who can even take mutants, that is the sole reason mystic class is in my opinion superior.
