BG Issues?

So just a disclaimer upfront, I’ve been gone for a while and recently came back to the game end of November, so I’m not up to date on the current state of things. Started getting back into BGs the past few days. Just now while playing, I tried to do some matches and 4 times in a row I ended up getting a victory even though we hadn’t gotten past the drafting stage. Are there any connection issues that people know of, or have I just somehow ran into 4 people in a row who withdrew?

yes (well, no, not that much), and yes.

if you haven’t really played BG in a while, you would have dropped all the way down to starting towards the bottom (since you drop 8 levels to start each new season from where you finish, if you don't play to move back up those 8 levels, you'd continually lose starting ground).

so down to much weaker, or newer, etc (or, yes, maybe some stronger, but don't play much like yourself) opponents. Who in seeing an opponent with much stronger deck that their will have a tendency to just forfeit when drafting.

even higher up levels, if people see a mismatch, some may opt to just forfeit and move on to next match quicker.

but, yes, connection issues to, but those are more during the fights themself, not too much during drafting teams.
