Spiderwoman incursion bug???

I used spiderwoman in incursions, there is a node that says #villains gain absolute power and #heros do not. I used the crossbones synergy which actually makes her #villain hence makes her gain absolute power. So is it a bug or is the synergy not working?

But does the earlier wording “against Mystics” also apply to this 2nd part of the synergy too ? Maybe that's why it didn’t work for you ??

think OP was asking why SpiderWoman did NOT apparently turn into a Villain tag (I assume she did NOT gain power that fight as to why they asked here). Thus my asking about how to group and interpret the synergy (similar to math, where are the order of operation parentheses supposed to be interpreted in that synergy).

Against Mystic (comma, so continue with sentence) inflict Concussion. (Period, end stop). Then new sentence, she becomes a Villain+Hydra instead of Hero.

So since the opening “against mystic” was not followed by say a (colon : ) which would then clearly infer everything after, but instead was just within one of the sentences (about Concussion), it seems unclear as to whether the Mystic aspect continues to apply to the 2nd sentence (turning a hero to villain) as well. ???

Although OP failed to mention who (what class) the fight was against, but probably safe to assume it was NOT against a Mystic (otherwise it would have clearly been a bug).

Because there is also a node that says you only gain power when the defender gains power and that node overrides the node you're talking about.

The people who design incursions couldn't give a rat's behind about their work product.

I agree that the 2nd sentence should be a separate paragraph. Those two sentences together is confusing.

@Suleish If you mean why you're still not getting power, read the other nodes.

If you mean why she's not showing the villain tag in the "Vs" screen, it never does

The permutation of nodes in incursions is crazy sometimes. I had Zone 15 Ultron boss in glitch incursions where he had "gain unstoppable every 8 seconds unless suffering from a bleed effect" node.
