Why Would You Stagger Milestones And Objectives

The incursions timer was originally set to refresh today, the new objective dropped today, but milestones (and thus acquiring star lord sf) dont reset until tomorrow. Why the needless extra confusion by having all these things happen at different times?

If I have to pick between ketchup and mustard, I'm honestly choosing mustard as the more palatable option.
