Dark phoenix future acquisition

Now that the Heart of Fire characters can be acquired through other means, will we have another opportunity to acquire Dark Phoenix for those of us who couldn't before?

They still show up as "unowned" as 2*, 3*, 4*,5* and its super annoying and frustrating to see them, as they shouldn't even be there. They should be removed from a Collector's standpoint, or be made in those rarities

The new update removes her "availability" and Stellar Starlord as 2*-5*. Thank you to whomever listened!

Considering Kabam removed the 2-5 star versions of Dark Phoenix, we may only see her in special events on occasion. There is no way she was designed only for Heart of Fire, otherwise she’d be the rarest trophy champ in game, alongside Immortal Iron Fist

There will probably be opportunities to get her; she will almost certainly stay a trophy champ requiring spending or top tier competition/lunatic grinding to earn.

She a confirmed trophy champ. The only other way I could see her being obtainable is most likely during a future banquet.

Kabam is in a little bit of a dilemma at the moment with Dark Phoenix. Because of how annoying and broken she is, they can either keep her as an exclusive release and prevent 99% of players from ever touching her, or they can release her to the masses and screw over all the whales that spent big to acquire her during Heart Of Fire. Whales have historically always been the game's financial backbone, so she's probably never going to be available for the majority of players.

Not to mention she literally ended the rebalance program alongside Spiderwoman and the others, which is a good or a bad thing.

I honestly think releasing lower variants of Dark Phoenix (2-5* versions) wouldn’t break the game as most wouldn’t use them, other than collectors, whereas the 6 and 7 stars are the most meta relevant

If whale, just wait.

They will announce, 1-1.5 years seems to be the new cycle for champion releases.

Honestly unless their is another spending event or another banquet we won't see her unless a very special endgame quest is made in order to aquire her like Necropolis did for Maestro

I'm sure she will not be cheap, but not 36k units because I don't think they're going to have another major sale event where she's the headliner again, that would be redundant.

It's actually tricky because like, you can't put her as a final webstore milestone since most of the spenders will already have her, so what do you do?

Can't give her away for cheap, but also can't have a sales event where she's the top prize because that's already been done.

My guess: she doesn't come back again for a long long time….

Jessica and weapon X got the same treatment when they were a thing. She will come back during sales but when and for how much is not what we can guess.
