The Dancing Minigame has been made 1000x better with the omission of the swiping enemies

Honestly the dancing game mode is genuinely 100x better without those stupid swipe enemies, this is how they should have launched the gamemode originally its literally way more fun now And actually doable. What is the general consensus on it now that you can disable them in settings?

If this wasn't a necessary qol feature due to their very poor implementation of this mode I would say they should cut the rewards for anyone who uses this setting or change it into a difficulty that results in earning way less since it's so much easier

Score depends on crits and stars. Nothing to do with swiping and tapping.

Disagree. Old version I was getting perfect scores and scoring over 1million points. New version i get a guaranteed miss at the end of every press and hold prompt which equals lower scores. At least that's my experience.

Same thing is happening to me. I went from missing 3 in Advanced Danger Room with swipes, to now missing 33 because the character does an extra hit which just causes miss

That sounds like a bug. There's a thread on it.

I didn't face it, but swipes vs taps score difference is not true.

Imma be honest; I play on an ~11” tablet because my eyes suck and I can’t play on phone/ however, this is the one case where I cannot adjust grip/ placement to manage the inputs. hand, lap, easel/ stand, using thumbs, using index, tried using my nose once… just been a pain from day 1.

Swiping may not have been as bad if it were limited to just Right-Side opponents.

But having to also do swipes with Left hand throws off everything (dexterity wise, holding device, etc).

I know some ppl do normal fights using Left hand for Evade/Retreat, but I’d bet most people only ever use Left for Press/Block (and Right hand for everything movement wise).

Those getting a miss at the end of the hold part, just let go slightly earlier than you think - I'm getting consistent criticals and no misses on them now. I'm certainly messing up other parts, but not them! :D @ArmoredGhost @DarthMystic

I'll have to try with no swipes although I did also notice that the "hit box" for them is very much localised around the champion in the middle, whereas if I swiped further to the outside of my phone it wasn't registering

ImI'm still getting weird misses on the big guys and still don't know what I have to do to open last character and room?

I'm not having any issues with the "Hold" enemies. But the random hits my character is now doing makes it impossible to sustain a combo

none of my runs for the final champ objective count past 2/10, so despite being an enjoyer of the mode I’ve soured on it regardless

I think you have to beat the 3 Unlocked stages on both the default difficulty (top left square toggle) and on the higher difficulty (bottom left square toggle) in order for it to unlock.
