Dimensional arcade dropping combos without any misses

With the new update, I have gone through many times where my combo seems to randomly drop even though I have not missed anything on screen...though the summary will tell me that I have some misses?

it mostly seemed to be counting it as a miss when I was holding down for the big tanky guys because it keeps hitting. unless you perfectly time the ending, it is going to count a miss, it seems

I noticed this. Realised its because it keeps throwing random hits. I cant get my combo up since the update.

Same here. I noticed the character is throwing extra attacks causing misses and making me lose the combo. I went from missing at most 3 in the advanced danger room dancefloor to now missing 17-33

Ok. I have done more experiments…

I am sometimes missing at the end of the big bosses as someone has noted here. Even when I release it, it sometimes throws an extra hit which misses...

But I think the root cause is that if you now throw a hit and don't hit anything, it is counted as a miss. I have tried just randomly tapping even when no one is coming, and that is now counted as a miss. I don't think that was counted as misses before?

it was counted as a miss before. But now i guess it thinks you are doing an extra input for some reason and then it throws an attack you weren't planning on doing so you miss and lose the combo

Are people releasing their press BEFORE the Tank is actually fully killed ?

As in expectation that some hit, based on bar underneath Tank, is coming to end so shouldn’t have to keep holding ?

(Different Tanks seem to have longer durations, and thus more amount of continued press hits before they die)

The only solution I’ve found is to use a pc. No dropped combos.

What it is , is that there is a input on your initial tap of your screen and then if your finger makes a slightest movement and then on releasing or lifting your finger up it counts as another input. If you manage to just tap and instantly lift up your finger without any movement then it will not register as two inputs. But you can actually verify this in practice mode and see that it is counting 2 tap inputs when you touch your screen make a tiny movement and then lift your finger up it counts as another tou input

I used up all my goes this morning after turning off simultaneous attacks and swipe attacks and I can consistently get 100+ combos getting higher scores than I ever could before the update

I was having the same problem and the solution is not dash.

I used to dash and hold and then i missed the last hit.

Try only tap and hold. It has been my solution.
