Best champ of 2025? Who gets your vote?

Kabam had made some solid, banger champs in 2025. Who do you think was the BEST and why?

Jean absolutely.

Decent champ with multi-utilities as well as amazing damage. The only one who was chosen for AW final boss node in two metas. Your greatest Attacker in many seasons’ BG. Always a must-pick role in different modes.

She can handle almost every skill champions and she made our abandoned Jack get his second chance to be active again in BG/AW. She doesn’t need high sigs which saves a lot of sig stones for ftp players.

Someone may pick SW or Nico or Karolina as their 2025 mvp. For SW, she needs high sigs and her defensive utility is nerfed. Now SW is no better than Photon in defense and her offensive utility is taken away in those two seasons’ BG. For Nico, she is my secondary option for 2025 mvp but she is not persistent in story mode or EQ since her pre-fight ability can be only used once. If your Nico’s sig level is low, she won’t be so proficient. For Karolina, she is great but she doesn’t have so much defensive value and I’m always annoyed by her sp3 in attack since her power gain sometimes goes out of control(I just want to use sp2).

Plus for SW. Actually I believe her pre-nerf ability in reducing AA is a double edged sword and that’s another reason why I don’t want to choose her as 2025 mvp.

Yes, with this ability, she was the best science defender in 2025. But on the other side, when you used her to encounter Onslaught or Thing in BG, you absolutely met the scene that she was tricked by Onslaught’s sp2 because the delirium failed to activate or the BiG Thing used his sp in 14 rock stacks which should be 15 but one failed to activate due to reduced AA.

Sometimes the nodes benefits attacker were also affected by her AA reduction.

Another reason why I don’t think she is the best 2025 champion is her sp1 mechanic. In Incursion or AR even sometimes in AW, she can get many different buffs from Strategy/Global Buff/Odin pre-fight abilities etc. but her sp1 just consumes them all. Your fury still converts into passive while the other buffs just fell into void. In AR it may cause you lack damage if you don’t use sp1, while in aw it may cause you lose the fight without Odin-pre fight in some nodes like 2-2-2/A3 or Node 10 in Big Thing mode. That’s her deadliest weakness in my opinion that you have to choose between utility and damage in some occasions meanwhile other champions can have them both.

In my opinion bastion is really one of the well made champions.

But the best imo has to be Dthanos.

It’s a tie between Jean Karolina Nico and Spider Woman realistically, hard to pick just one tho because they’re all extremely versatile and consistent but personally from a fun standpoint I would pick Karolina.

I would also add dthanos there he is versatile too and if I'm not wrong a 2025 champ as well.

Jean is low-key goated lol. IMO, her Force Field alone is one of the best utilities in the game.

(I consider Nico to be less of a fully designed champ and more a powerful collection of mystic gimmicks.)

Once she was nerfed, Jean. Although apparently now Daunted has been nerfed? So maybe not Jean anymore.

D Thanos then. Actually buffed recently when all the daunted champs were nerfed. Honorable mention to Nico and Karolina - at least until they get nerfed.

Jean Grey for the WIN lol. She's an all around well designed champ. Has been frequently on the ban list. So glad we finally got her in the game, and that she's better than her X-Men of the 90's counterpart 😆

Okoye has been great for me on attack. Whew...the Sp 2 smokes damn near anything in her way 😆

Im not saying he's objectively the best, but Mr knight has really grown on me and is massively slept on.

Spider woman, okoye and Bastion are prooobably the best 3, maybe jean instead of bastion, but the skill class is really catching up this year

Bastion and Jean for me.

But it was such a stacked year, Gentle is absolutely amazing so when a champion of his caliber isn't regularly in people's top five or even top ten, that's saying something.
