Which Champions do you think will get buffed in 2026?

Thanks to @Agt. Summers infographic, we have the remaining 6* champions who aren’t 7*s yet. Several of them, in my opinion are ready to be released as 7 stars, including Wasp, but others aren’t ready quite yet.

We do know that we will see two champion reworks for the mystic class including Magik and Ghost Rider, but who else do you want to see get buffed in 2026 and why?

I was very, very surprised that they're releasing OG Star-Lord without a buff. Sure, his damage works for 2026 (at least when ramped up), but he's still very much a 2014 champion in every other respect. You still have no control over which piece of utility you get from the element gun when fired, so you can't actually use him reliably in fights where you'd need what little utility he has. So he'd be a great candidate…at least if we hadn't already gotten Stellar-Forged Star-Lord. I don't particularly want to see them buff OG SL right after releasing the Stellar-Forged version, but yeah, he'd be a great candidate for a buff.

But moving away from Star-Lord, I'd love to see Electro get the Korg treatment where he's buffed offensively. He really doesn't need a defensive buff, but I would love to be able to use him on attack. Same thing with Annihilus. I can see Annihilus getting some defensive tweaks since we just saw Abs Man come into the contest as a 7*, but mostly I'd just want an offensive buff.

I'd also like to see an Old Man Logan buff. He has always been close to being good, but his first buff didn't quite stick the landing. I don't think he needs a complete overhaul, but some small tweaks and number adjustments would probably do wonders for him.

Also, I was really expecting a Taskmaster buff after they gave him a small visual update. Feels kind of weird to give a visual update to a 6* champion that no one really uses? Maybe it’s just a really early tease of what’s to come…or maybe not, I don’t know.

A full rework for Beast, Og Wolverine, Iron Fist, Winter Soldier and Black Bolt is what I'm hoping for. And when I say full rework I mean everything (animations, model, kit and victory animations). If at least one of those could happen this year that would be amazing.

To give my reasoning for these five champions they're five very iconic characters from the contest and are very VERY outdated and unusable. I think all five of them need the Doctor Strange and Cyclops treatment. That is the only way I think the community would accept seeing these champions as 7 stars.

I wished at least they put the Mantis synergy into his base kit so it’s not so RNG based with his gun effects

Thor and Black Widow as well. Thor has ok damage at Sig 200 but lacks relevant cosmic utility. Black Widow has utility but no damage

Plus let’s not forget the ascension buffs like Lady D, Emma Frost, Aarkus, etc.
