Probably it's DOT on both sides ticking and dealing the fatal damage at the same time, it's pretty rare but still possible

I’m curious how that would be scored in arena - would you get the points for winning or not? Any type of questing presumably you’d complete the node and move on.

Looks like BG does consider it a fight loss since you didn’t get time points…
