Is anyone noticing on iPhone that their character is dashing forward instead of backwards?

This has always been a bit of an issue for me, but lately it's happening a lot. Essentially I'll go to swipe back and for whatever reason my character will dash forward for a medium. There is never reverse controls activated when this happens, it just kind of happens. Again, this has happened before but it's been seemingly very consistent as of late.

My issue my character dashes back when I’m trying to do combos then I get wrecked. Some days its fine other days its really bad.

Happening on my iPhone. 17pro device. Didn’t happen on my old phone but since the phone upgrade it keeps happening randomly. I attributed that to the slightly larger size shifting controls a bit and causing weird results. Doesn’t happen on iPad so just switched to playing on iPad.

I have just the opposite problem. Since upgrading my iPhone, the characters frequently dash back when I'm trying to move forward and punch. It's messed me up on NUMEROUS fights in recent weeks. They also dash back when I'm trying to block, which actually works out sometimes and they dex instead, LOL. But these problems simply didn't exist on my old iPhone.

I have the opposite issue. Character dashing back in the middle of a 5-hit combo. 17 Pro max.

I get an issue where I am holding block and my character will lunge into the attacker usually into a special attack. It's really weird.

… I'm using iPhone 17. Find that if I make sure only my tapping fingers touch the screen, there are no random movements.

Suspect the edge is too sensitive and register a touch …

Same problem. iPhone 15 and iPad Air. Throw a heavy, but my champ just stands there. Swipe to dash forward, but dashes back instead. Annoying. Sometimes lethal.

iPhone 17!is slightly larger and more sensitive. It’s reading your fingers close to the screen barely touching it. 17 size is slightly different. You may notice typing that your typing isn’t as accurate cause the buttons are slightly off due to the slight size change.
That’s my guess.

I'm on an iphone 12 and sometimes when I swipe to dash in it dashes me back. Never happened to me before.

yes, I got same problem with ipad mini. Its very Annoyed and made me lost fights frequently

I’m on 15 Pro and it’s started with this update along with the suite of controls issues like dead specials, dead strikers and strikers whiffing/getting blocked post combo.

Unfortunately, this seems to be par for the course with every new update.

I'm on the iphone 17 Pro Max as well, though it looks like the thread is posting a variation of models.

So far no one is mentioning an android device, so maybe @KabamPinwheel, one of you guys can take a look at this. The game still works but these input problems are starting to become consistent enough were its getting really discouraging. Its not like you can ever take a 5 hit combo anymore, it always comes at the expense of a revive now.

yes. Only on the new iPhone 17 Pro random dashes and block not registering. I still have my iPhone 15 the game works fine on it.
