Is this a bug? Okoye and vtd applying debuffs on crits..but Okoye landed and vtd didn’t.

So I was fighting using okoye in bg glad circuit.

She was applying debuffs when she hits. So I’m presuming because the game registers her hits as crits? Even though they do no dmg, she gets the debufffs?

In the same round I was fighting unsling vtd. He is supposed to apply bleed on crits. But he didn’t apply any debuffs at all, in the entire fight.

Should he be dropping debuffs? And if not, why did okoye?

Both did zero dmg with their melee hits..

Okoye applies debuffs when she wpild crit. Not based on it it does damage or not. Also VTD only has a 55% chance to apply the bleed.

it was in the bg meta where you only got power if you landed dmg debuffs. And only could do dmg with specials.

Okoye was fighting dark phoenix.

You can still land crits even if you don’t deal damage on the hit - so okoye landing debuffs is expected. VTD as stated above only has about a 50% chance to bleed on crits and iirc doesn’t have a great base crit rate - it’s a little surprising you really landed no bleeds, though, unless the defender had crit resistance.
