The current BGs setup is really unfortunate
I consider myself a relatively active MCOC player. However, the direction Kabam is pushing Battlegrounds in feels very discouraging.
This season, for the first time in a long while, I failed to reach Gladiator’s Circuit within the one-week limit. After that, I completely skipped the next two weeks because I simply didn’t feel motivated to continue.
Looking at the final rankings, it’s clear that there has been a significant drop in player participation in this format.
The numbers speak for themselves — many players seem to be stepping away from BGs.
I strongly recommend two changes, without which I believe this mode will continue to decline:
1. Extend the milestone deadlines (GC entry, 100 and 200 points) by one additional week. The current time pressure is too restrictive and punishes players who can’t commit heavily during a single week.
2. Bring back the solo event. Its removal has significantly reduced the incentive to play consistently and made the mode feel less rewarding overall.
Battlegrounds used to feel competitive but accessible. Right now, it feels overly demanding and much less enjoyable. I hope you reconsider the current structure before more players lose interest entirely.
