Game not letting new members join AQ

I had two people join the alliance yesterday both roughly 6 hours before AQ day 2 ended. When day 3 started neither were able to join. Ok... same day join... maybe there's something with the timing? Never seen it happen like that before but ok, they miss a day.

However day 4 just started 20 min ago and both members are still being locked out from joining. Anyone from Kabam want to step up with an kind of explanation?

You need to be in the alliance before raids starts to join. Maybe that carries over to normal AQ on raids week. Which would be dumb.
