Hopefully this isn’t correct. Otherwise we are in for another multiple champion nerf that Kabam has been sitting on to fix her.

She's r3 sig 200 with the same relic on both. The difference isn't as noticeable as with Hulking but the damage definitely increased to a certain extent.
Yeah way too minimal, it's not good enough imo, and not worth taking r4, very disappointing as the change in hulkling is so much better and so noticeable
I think it's because they only upped the hit damage which doesnt translate to her bleeds. Could be wrong though

That's 550k hp in 38 secs not sure why you think that's disappointing and not enough, it certainly is for me. Valk was never a Hulkling level nuke to begin with, her value came from the fact that she could essentially kill a lot of defenders without landing an actual hit in around 40-50 secs and that's what she's currently doing. Not much else they can do here imo

The problem is her play style is pointless now because her primary source (hitting, specials into block) is still about the same as it was. I have a R4 maxed Valerie and I've played MANY MANY MANY HOURS as a 6 star. Her block damage is not what it should be.
They absolutely increased her basic damage but that wasn't her play style. Now it is MUCH MORE beneficial to just play her as a normal champion and use her "intended play" as just a gimmick mostly … a small bonus because you will dish out an incredibly larger portion of damage just playing her with basic hits.
And it's very unfortunate … can she still take down a defender playing her like normal … sure but it won't be the rewarding experience as a maxed R4 that you'd expect. Just play her like a regular champ now and forget how she used to be because it'll save you the disappointment.
Oh gosh if this is truly the case, then this will not be an acceptable fix for Valkyrie.
The whole design of Valkyrie was to hit into Block, if this is not working as it should then, Kabam need to relook at Valkyrie.
Is that comparison hitting on the block? If it is then it’s fair that they increased the damage but if it’s playing her normally then that’s not really much. Valkyrie is all about hitting in the block.
I never liked valkarie or champions who’s entire kit revolves around damaging through block. If it’s a couple hits needed like Adam or hulkling sure, but massacre, gladiator or Valk just don’t like

this exactly. In the past I loved using her for hazard shift fights and stuff like that. Now she’s a champ who can ignore unstoppable. Great. For the hitting block I’ll just use champs like Yondu now, who performs better. I will really regret having taken her to 4 and invested so many stones into her, should this be her final state.
Testing is over, time to share the results.
The following table shows the damage of "Bugged Valkyrie" compared with current "Fixed Valkyrie".
Settings: Testing was done against the old reliable RoL Winter Soldier, with a 7s R4 sig 200 (First Edition) Valkyrie, equipped with an unawakened 6s R4 Valkyrie relic
"Light", "Medium crit" and "Light into Block" are self explanatory, while the "Sp2 into block" row refers to the damage done by the first hit of the Sp2 (all other hits have the same damage multiplier) hitting into WS block. Important: 3 Pierce and 0 Bulwark were active for simplicity of testing, damage is a lot higher with 3 Bulwark too.
Results indicate a consistent damage increase between Basic Attacks, blocked Basic Attacks and blocked Special Attacks. Instant Bleed damage were not increased at all. That seems to go against Valkyrie intended design, given her ability description

An official response on the entire subject would be greatly appreciated: is this the damage increase you guys had in mind? Will something be done about the instant bleed damage?
Personal Note: Good damage buff, Valkyrie feels very powerful again. Instant bleed feels bad tho and should be buffed too.
I have a similar table ready for Hercules next month, with Basic and Special Attacks at 0, 5 and 12 Feats of Strenght (including different hits of Special Attacks given their different multiplier)
This has been my main complaint. Her regular hits critting are just as strong as her block hits after an SP2. Wasn't always like that and now that feeling is lost of having her really take down opponents with a big SP2 fury hitting into block.
Her instant Bleeds were not impacted by the bug, and should be 1-1 with how they always were. The wording in the ability is a bit confusing, imo, as that's meant to outline the max bleed damage she can achieve when she maxes out her block penetration. You'll need the Bulwark Buffs and Passives from her Heavy to achieve that, as it always was. Here's a fight I just did as an example - notice the 3 Bulwark, and passives - with the Intimidate Debuff from Heavy. TLDR - Bleeds were never impacted, need to optimize her buffs and passives.
Strictly into block yes, and of course it's RoL AI so it's even slower than it would be with regular AI where you can go straight into sp2 on block after a combo.

Pretty happy with her performance against an R4 rhino.. I even got special intercepted.. she made him an absolute potato. I will note,the Ai, always seems more aggressive when when using call, the defenders don't tend to ever turtle up like you want
