Concern regarding Rampant Evolution Meta Event

While previewing the map for the upcoming Rampant Evolution quest coming next week, I noticed that after the miniboss of each section there are these teleporters that allow you to swap over to other lanes.

However, if the Meta Event is structured like regular AQ and map exploration is required for full rewards, then each of these lane change junctions would actually be required to be taken by at least one person. From what I can tell, it is still possible to fully explore the map even with the minimum of 8 players, but this would be kinda annoying to manage and easily missable by many. The post detailing RE is vague on what the exploration rewards are (the post lists the combined “completion and exploration rewards” only), so I was hoping we could get some confirmation on if these portals were mandatory for full rewards. I would hate to be one of the (presumably many) alliances that missed out because they took the straightforward approach of everyone sticking to one lane.

One possible way around it, everyone can use the UNDO MOVE to initially go to an untaken jump node (but don't jump), and then UNDO (Yellow backup dot) back to prior node, and then continue along their main continuing path.

8 total Jumps, and everyone can only use Undo once per map, which HARD mode needs 8 ppl anyways.

(*but getting people to use Undo's is like “pulling teeth”, even on what should be no-brainer empty map paths in AW in BG's that sometimes don't get full attack participation, ie. those that aren’t a top-tier alliance)

But EASY Mode only needs 6 people, so wouldn’t be able to fully do that (if 6 or 7 ppl is all you have that join).

Seems like all the nodes have the same Node Buffs (they only get new buffs as you go to next sections up), no matter which path you take (?), so assigned paths shouldn’t matter much except for maybe certain specific defenders on certain nodes (so you can definitely cross from left-right, without much thought).

why is there portals in the first place? Who designs this **** and gets away with causing unneeded chaos. Game team please remember simple is best. Read the room do better make better designs not designs made to punish messing up movements

I mean the simplest fix would be to make it like the middle of the war map. Where there is just the one portal that goes to all lanes and no other connection. So you cannot skip any exploration as there is only one way to go

Update for anyone who cares:

Despite radio silence on the subject, Kabam actually did go ahead and fix the issue at some point it seems. No more teleporters. Good job on this one I suppose. Couldn’t have hurt to comment that they were aware of the problem and/or going to fix it but a W is a W I guess.

(above) Portals Removed

Although, there was a good aspect of letting someone jump L-R between sections. (all that was needed really is just make the Portals IN-LINE after the section boss, not those initial strange 1-node branch-offs that could have affected explore)

For a backup person to be able to finish off a particular champ (and let the original main-line person continue with other champs), and then hop over to a different L-R section and help out someone else too. Or a 10th person just jumps in and starts without waiting until much later to see if actually needed somewhere.
