Price differences

So, I am going to start by saying thanks for a great game! .... Most of the time.
1st, could you please add filters to the various inventory pages?

2nd, I've played this game almost since the beginning.
I'm a Paragon level player and I could be Valiant I just haven't felt like doing story.
Because of that, I get screwed every time there is an event or something special going on.
Now, its bad enough you lock us put of certain top tier unit and/or special bundles we can purchase in the store.
Then you also lock us out of bundles to buy with units we earned or bought, those bundles not only have more/better item but they are also cheaper the higher our progression level?!?!?! That is NUTS!!! And it is beyond UNFAIR.

I hope it won't, but I'm sure this will fall on deaf ears or get brushed off.
But it should not.

Or, instead of complaining how unfair it is, go and get valiant. Story is easy.

to be honest, as a valiant player, i think even our unit offers are overpriced, if they were like 30% cheaper it would've been more fair, but yeah, if u can go for valiant, just do it, should be at the top of your priorities, and if u cant do it, then just have fun playing other content until you become strong enough (explore act 6, do monthly EQ, side events etc)

If you could be valiant as you've stated, why not just do the story and become valiant. Then get the cheaper deals?

Have you played any game ever? Many games have constraints/tiers that you unlock as you improve at the game. If they let everyone have the same rewards/pricing, then there would be less incentive to become valiant. Look at this as a reason to go and do story mode.

I took like a two year break(was throne breaker) came back to the game at the very end of 24. Was valiant by the july 4th sales. Boost up and push through my guy it's easily done via six stars then just rank a couple sevens up and your done.

I think you are getting too much for the same amount of units a Valiant spends after doing the content. 2 different perspectives, one is Kabams fault and one is your fault.

Except literally none of them are long quests. Not one path takes even a full energy refill anymore

I am also a single parents working a full time job plus, a lot of side work.

So, again I don't always have time to play. I'd love to have more time to play.

We are trying to tell you, in the time it took you to make these long posts, you could have already completed a path in story. they are so short and easy now. Apparently your time management is what lacks.

@BringPopcorn, except you get better rewards, more of said items and deals ate less expensive and give more. Look at the examples I circled. Paragon get lesser gold and sig stones and it's 1000 units more expensive.

Those are the kinds of things I have an issue with.

With your criteria a nurse should earn the same as a surgeon. They both work in the medical field, they both work at a hospital.

Ohh shiver me timbers, you're so threatening. I have the veterans tag, that can give you a hint as to my age, so I'm doubtful you've been playing games longer than I've been alive. Granted if you have, you should be aware of progression locked items in games.

As Buttehrs and many others have mentioned, you're coming to forums to complain instead of just playing the game. In the amount of time you've come back here, you could've completed multiple story quests.

Dawg this is the forums, people's feedback is bound to be commented because it's a pubic page on the internet. Go submit a support ticket if you don't want others opinions.

"Running my mouth" I simply told you to achieve valiant to get the cheaper deals as you started this post off saying you could get valiant. Then quickly changed to "I have kids and 2 jobs I can't do that."

Doing an @ to kabam isn't going to get their attention, but i can assure you they're never going to make the deal prices uniform across all progression levels. That prevents players motivation to play for the next title + lower progressions won't have to spend as much to receive the same rewards. Realistically, if they release a title after valiant, paragon and valiant could be grouped together for the deals.

Well, I've been alive longer than video games have existed, so I guess that allows me to weigh in.

The problem is what you call a "constraint" is simply the point to progressional games. All progressional games reward progress. Progress is what earns you advancement in the game. If things didn't exist that were "constrained" by your progression, progression would be pointless. And these things have to be things people wished they could get without progress because if they weren't, there would be no incentive to progress in the game.

Most video games have this structure in some form. You need to do this to get that. You cannot do this until you first do that. This reward is only open to those capable of accomplishing this thing. Even many coin-op video games had this sort of thing in some form, but progressional games specifically focus on it. No matter how much people complain about it, no matter how much people decry the effort required, this is never going to be changed because the game is specifically intended to work that way. The game is targeted at the people who want that sort of experience. If you feel the effort required to progress is too high but you do not want to be excluded from the perks given to players who accomplish those things, this kind of game is not for you.

Sometimes the benefit of gaining more progress in the game is things get cheaper. Sometimes the benefit of gaining more progress in the game is things become available at all. These rewards must exist and they must be non-trivial for that progression to be meaningful. To put it another way, when people say they want what Valiant players get when they aren't Valiant yet, that's working as intended.

As an aside, the official forums are intended for players to discuss the game with each other. Every post on it is a post all other players are free to reply to, comment on, support, or disagree with. Many people post here telling everyone else that their post is targeted at Kabam or Kabam employees, and only Kabam employees. However, that's strictly speaking not something any poster has the right to dictate. That includes the Suggestions subforum.
