Super Duper Ascension vs Regular

Has there been any information provided on what the difference is between the two ascension types? We have a few select champs that were selected for "super duper" ascension and a separate list of champs in each class that were selected for normal ascension.

The super duper pool is the crystal we're getting shards for with the max sig dupes.

The regular pool will be a separate crystal.

They're both normal ascension the pools just have different names

What my nuts said, but just wanted to add that I've been watching some CCP videos and they're saying things like "which champion will you choose to ascend first?" As if it's a choice instead of RNG based on the crystal you pull. Suffice it to say, the communication regarding this gamebreaking development has been atrocious.

Normal ascension is RNG based which sucks. Can’t ascend the champs you want until RNG allows you to. 👎🏽 Would’ve R5’s Gentle if it wasn’t RNG focused.

From what I understand, apart from the Super Duper Ascension pool, the only way to get Ascension materials (from what Kabam stated so far) are if you pull those champions from the Valiant Feature crystals (and double track, which right now is only Pavitr).

So get ready to open up for credite card, as Ascension materials doesn't grown on tree.

@Anotherconcernplayer Absolutely haha. That’s why I didn’t choose my R5 based on ascension. You have to wait for RNG to allow you to ascend your ascendable R5 🤣could take a year or longer if you get had luck. That’s why my first R5 is deathless Thanos.
