There are times where I wonder if it's worth playing the game

I'm currently trying to beat the defender in colosium but no matter what I do, the guy is unbeatable. I tried with various counters like Void, Onslaught,Spiderham, photon.. but to no avail. I can't even pass one round. The AI is horrible. Most of times it triggers SP1 resulting in going to full sp3 and Knockout. Is unlockable most of the times and his sp2 most of the time can not be dodged. I'm not an inexperienced player as I play this game for years. I don't know how the guys in videos show like it's walk in the park. The counters for this champ are also limited. Not everybody has 7* R4 counters or deathless She Hulk in order to battle. I believe Kabam should at least inform the players in advance of what's needed to fight this battle. I wasted all my time in the previous weeks only to reach the last part where I can not continue. Games are supposed to be fun not constant struggle

Sorry to say skill issue.

You have all the information you need on how to do this fight if you read the nodes and destroyers abilities which you obviously did not do since you dont understand his charges or power gain. This is one of the easier fights. Just read

His sp2 can always be dodged, its super consistent. The fight has a week and a half left, just keep pushing and you'll get there. If you dont know how to fight destroyer already then the rewards are absolutely worth it

Keep on practicing it wont take long. few weeks ago i was able to succesfully dodge destroyer's sp2 with a 50% success rate. Few days ago when i reached the 80 points required i was evading it at 99.99% success rate. So yeah it is just about practicing.

OP,..i also didn’t have many great options,.,i went with a rank one 7* Quicksilver with boosts.

If you have him,..try to dodge attacks to keep up wither and time it so destroyer takes the falter during his sp1.

Might be a better way but idk,.,this worked for me.

Quicksilver is like the best option for this. He shuts the entire fight off

I used IHulk, best I got was six bars with him. In under 2 minutes, once it clicked it clicked for me. Hesitation is defeat.

If you want to do it the "right" way use Silk, She Hulk, or some other "correct" champion. If you want to feel something deep within you at success grab IHulk.

(well yes),..i meant ranked up options as mine sits at R1,…i was simply stating for OP to not overlook him if he has a 7 star unranked or maybe a 6 star he could rank up to help him with the fight.

If you have a 6* Deathless She-Hulk, she'll still cook. Or regular She-Hulk will be almost as good.

Other really good options would be:

Quicksilver (as mentioned)

Lizard, if he's Awakened would be great, too; as he's got Tracking, Wither, and does really well against opponents who throw lots of specials.

Void, America Chavez, Count Nefaria, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones or Mister Fantastic can easily deal with the Power Gain; which sounds like it's the thing that's troubling you most

In a pinch, you can probably control the power gain with Sandman, Jane Foster, The Leader, or High Evolutionary.

A lot of players giving great pointers and options which is a good thing. The bad thing is that OP uses the excuse of not being able to finish the milestones as if he didn't collect any rewards before Destroyer. Not everyone is meant to get the last milestone reward, and if they do its not meant to be a cake walk for everyone.

If he throws the SP1 then try to actually Dex the attacks, rather than just outdistance them - if you're in his face you can usually dex the first and third attacks reliably (you tend to outdistance the 2nd hit with the first dex) because each of the Dex you manage reduces his destruction charges. You also reduce them by knocking him down.

The SP2 is eminently dexable - again assuming you're in his face you dex the kick then wait for a half-second before dexing again - the delay between the kick and the blast is really tricky until you nail it.

Finally you either need a reliable miss counter, or else keep in mind to get away when the grey timer ends on his side.

I was with you until you said the sp2 was hard to dodge. My brother in Kabam his sps are so easy to dex, I think his power gain needed a tweak or possibly his "sp2 bias" need a tweak before release.

He was the hardest one of the four for me personally stick with it you've got this.

Im ftp, and i used R2 7* quicksilver to get all 80 bars, never spent a single dollar , you need to understand the fight, which is this: power control .. and he turns into a lemon, thats it..

After his first kick he will plant his foot on the ground. When it touches the ground is when you dex. Easy peasy.
