At the moment, the game appears to use conservative graphics profiles on Android, even on devices that clearly have sufficient CPU and GPU performance to support higher visual quality. I’ve noticed that this results in:
- Visible aliasing on character edges, especially during fights.
- Lower internal rendering resolution, which is particularly noticeable on larger displays.
- Absence of certain visual effects, such as rain, fog, and similar effects.
This creates a clear visual difference when compared to the iOS version. While it’s completely understandable to prioritize stability and broad compatibility on Android, there is now a growing category of modern Android devices that can reliably sustain higher graphical fidelity without negatively impacting performance or stability.
Suggestions for consideration:
- Re-evaluating how high-end Android devices are classified for graphics profiles.
- Enabling a higher graphics tier for capable hardware.
- Offering an optional, manual graphics quality setting where appropriate.
This feedback is intended as a general suggestion to help the game make better use of modern Android hardware as it continues to evolve.
For reference only, the device I personally use is a RedMagic Astra Tablet, though I think this behavior might be affecting a wider range of high-performance Android devices.
