Heating issue

It has become clear that over the years (11+) that the game has become bloated. The many added layers on top of the core engine is causing the CPU to work overtime - unnecessarily. It has come a point that my phone (IPhone 13 with latest updates) is fast becoming unusable. I should not need a new phone to play the game. It is already VERY hard to be semi competitive without spending a little. A new phone is $$$$. It’s a lot in today’s economy. Will you look to fix the core engine? Remove the layering and have something new and smooth?

Isn't iPhone 13 the oldest iphones that can even run the game now? Your long overdue for an upgrade, and not just because of mcoc.

The phone is old. Not the point however. The point is the code for the game engine is bloated. Correct that and they correct many issues - including over heating.

If I need to spend $1000 on a phone capable of playing the game … nah … I’ll just stop. They should fix the under lying issue of a poorly designed game engine where they continue to apply layers of fixes which in turn bloats the code and forces the CPU to work that much harder. Meh, fix it or not. When I can’t play I drop it.

Iphone 15 was released in 2021, it is 2026. You were able to use a device for 5 years for many things on top of enjoying the game.

Its not like they are telling you to spend 1000 bucks every year to play. If your argument had any truth at all the car industry would have been bankrupt about 50 years ago.

It requires iOS 15, which can be run on an iPhone 6s.

Sigh. Again, not the point. The game has bugs. Has always had bugs. Rather than layering patch on top of patch it is better to correct the underlying problem(s) and have a very good bug free game. My reason to post started with the over heating. Digging deeper into the issue I see the problem is not the Phone - worked fine 5 months ago - but issues with the game engine. Regardless, I hope Kabam takes the comment serious and works to correct core game engine problems. Correcting those will take time but will ultimately lead to a more enjoyable and supportable (programming wise) game.

Just adding that my phone, while an old model iPhone 13, it is less than 2 years old. Got it for free on a two year plan from my provider. So, there does not seem to be anything wrong with the phone, other than the CPU can no longer handle the amount of processing the game requires - which is most likely do to an inefficient game engine.

I can only hope the developers tackle the underlying issue (game engine) as it will solve most of the issues with the game and then make further development easier as it becomes easier to maintain and expand.
