"The Goblin Queen" looks the best out of the three. Peixe doesn't do anything new and Magik is a 500k radiance paper weight.

Im more excited about Storm Pyramid X. In the clip they showed she did a 300k sp2 without being played properly and all it took was reaching sp2. For the BGs season where time will be important, she will be a must have

definitely Maddy Pryor, but I am based, I like evil-oriented art, and dark characters, the scythe of sorrow looks amazing, the goblin pit animations look disgustingly good, and degen damage is still very versatiile since very few champs are immune to it, so i think she will cover a lot of ground

General question: based on what you saw with Magik, is there anything you saw that makes you definitely want to use Magik over Mojo and Madelyn? (Just picked them because of degen. Not comparing them to all mystics)

I'm ready for the disagrees, Magik lol for a few reasons which I'll mention and if I still get disagree spammed so be it:

The rework at first glance doesn't seem bad, her damage and speed seem to be around the same as Pav's (granted you're running max MD which why wouldn't you be) and we all know Pav is currently a top 5 mystic. So, damage and speed alone I 100% disagree with people calling her mid already.
We weren't able to see a whole lot of utility in there but we did see falter, no power granted during specials, power back from sp1 kinda similar to Punisher's sp2, and of course the limbo regen which still seems very strong to me she went from 60% back to 100% with zero issues. These are pieces of utility that either don't exist yet or aren't that common currently which is nice, and then there's also the neutralize and the fact that her damage is degen based which is hard to shut down (and doesn't seem even remotely close to being as weak as Dracula's)
Yes yes I know they only showcased her against Serpent but based on what I saw she looks like she'll be able to handle more than just Serpent
I, like many people, started playing around 2015. I got to use Magik during her golden days but the last time I used her was when r3 6* became a thing, not even ascension made her relevant again and while nostalgia is nice, it is something I'm willing to sacrifice as long as I can use her again which I most likely will unless the rest of the kit is actually mid.
We desperately need strong mystic defenders, hopefully she is good at that too. Her limbo damage on defense gave a lot of us PTSD it was essentially worse than using a skill champ against Domino, so removing that completely would be a terrible move from Kabam and it would pretty much be the final nail on the coffin for Quake and Herc so I want to believe they didn't actually make the dumbest decision possible there seeing how the power lock and power steal already got removed completely.
Animations look dope.

Of course this could change because we don't know the full details yet, but it is the one I'm interested in the most. Madelyn looks very good nice to see she didn't get the Blue Marvel treatment (thank God) and she very well might end up being even better than Magik the potential is there. Pixie I'm not so sure about she didn't seem terrible but I'm not a fan of champs where you have to build three full bars to even start dealing damage and also no daunted which is a bit of a problem cause of Yelena.

However they did butcher her power control though, like not even power steal or wither? Also how well do we think she’ll do as a defender?

Yeah that's the biggest L from the rework unfortunately but I'd be willing to ignore it if she's still the top defender she used to be, cause then she would still have the mechanic where her specials don't grant any power to the defender + that dual threat potential which in my opinion absolutely needed to still be there even more than the power lock and the power steal. I knew when the buff was announced that we would be trading those two for more consistent versatile damage, no other way around it.

As for the defensive threat, it seems they turned limbo into a buff that she applies to the defender so my guess is she will still be a very strong trap defender just not as strong as she used to be because she will have more counters, all they probably did was:

As mentioned previously it's a buff that she applies now.
Changed it's damage type from energy damage to direct damage (degen).
Changed it so it only scales with base attack like Domino's crit failure.

With these changes in place you essentially have two ways to counter her a. buff immunity (Red Goat Lizard stock about to pop off) or b. degen resistance/immunity which the science class does have unlike years ago when the only way to counter her was with massive energy resistance and even then you still took a lot of damage. So yeah she has potential, we'll find out soon.

Don't get me wrong, Magik looks interesting but I'm sad the power control has gone. To be honest, it's probably going to be a long time before I get the 7*, if ever, so that's probably just as well.

Pryor looks like the winner here.

I'm seriously debating whether I should even chase Magik. That radiance can definitely be used elsewhere, but it's also way less expensive than I initially predicted, so she's both mid and kinda cheap.

I actually find Magik rework interesting if she turns out to be good then then the rework will be a hit.… if not then we can have Dracula 2.0.
