You want me to have 40 champions in my deck.
If I place a defender that isn't from the saga, it will die on its own in 20 seconds.
As if my defender dying on its own wasn't enough, if my opponent loses 50% of their health but fights faster, they win.
With new champion ascensions restricted to Valiant Crystal, whales will have infinite ascensions while I'll have to wait a year.
And there's more: Now you can reroll 3 times. And it's paid. This shouldn't even exist, but since it does, it should be free.
Let's get to the practical summary:
My opponent's champions will have more health, more attack, my non-saga defenders die on their own, I have the perfect fight, I come out with 100% health, I face a 7-second loading screen, and my opponent has a terrible fight, loses half their health, and wins the match because their attacker has more attack, their defender has more health, and their phone is better than mine. Skill Issue, obviously.
And I spend money in the game, right? I already have resources for my first 7-Star Rank 5 and I have about 46 7-Star Rank 4 champions. If I were to build a deck only with Saga champions, more than half of my 7-Star Rank 4 champions would be left out. Imagine those who are free-to-play.
This is unbelievable. There is no reason for these "tests" to happen.
It doesn't matter if it happens in the off-season, if it's for a season, the answer is no, this is not healthy, this is completely destroying the competitive aspect of the game. The mere fact that you're even considering testing this already indicates the extremely worrying direction the game is heading.
Want ideas to change in Battlegrounds? Here are a few:
Matches should start at exactly the same time. No one should have a loading disadvantage.
You increased the deck size, but you still get 5 champions for two picks and three champions for one pick. This should have increased proportionally to the deck size.
Remove Reroll or make it free.
Start banning cheaters more frequently.
Look at the Battlegrounds alliance rewards. There were alliances focused on Battlegrounds just to collect them.
5 bans allow you to ban almost an entire class from a small account. This is unhealthy.
You have things to do. Stop having ideas and maintain things. We don't need defenders dying alone or matches being decided by who fought the fight the fastest, not who fought the best fight. Keep competitive modes away from these strange ideas. Go back to focusing on cosmetics.
