Progression Tied Selectors

I feel like there should be an option to leave a selector screen so you can save it until you are at the progression tier that allows you to pick the reward you want.

When it forces you to pick from the selector because you didn't realize that getting a Google play store reward would also force claim said selector, it just feels bad.

Or, just push for higher progressions ASAP. Literally none of them are hard to get.

While I agree with you, I also don't think that excuses questionable game design that doesn't allow players to come back later after considering their discision.

Its not a questionable game design. Its literally there to entice you to progress further because your missing out on better rewards.

OK sure, let's say that I agree there. But what is undoubtedly questionable is making the player claim the reward because they wanted to get something else. I would assume the same thing would happen if you decided to claim twitch drops too. The issue is that it does not put twitch drops into your mailbox to claim yourself, it just force claims them as soon as you open the game.

And then that force claim results in the game force claiming everything in your mailbox

You knew the rewards for your progression level going into the content. If you don't want those rewards, step up to the next title before you complete it. I don't think this one's on Kabam.

No man. Thats not how it works. You can either take what's available to you, or regret not pushing further before doing the content that gives the selector. Kabam gave you your options. You chose to stay stagnant in your progression. Thats solely on you.

(not related to the “Progression” aspect of pop-up Selectors, but just to the nature of forced pop-up Selectors in general..)

They should at least let you bypass the forced nature of them, in cases of wanting to go back to look at your champs, or how many Cats of different classes you have, etc. Before being forced to make a selection from these varied pop-up selectors.

Might have to make it a “one-time only bypass”, to avoid cases like OP wanting to continually bypass making the choice until they Progression-up. But at least you can check things in your account before having to make a decision (some pop-ups are really unknown in advance as to what you need to be making a decision about).
