Question about expiring currency

A lot of people in my alliance are going to lose certain currencies because they were under the impression they would be able to use them on this update....or the stores would stay open while we convert.

Can someone at Kabam give us an update on what theyre doing about it? There is no way they play the game this little to not understand that there has been a meta change and that people were hoarding materials waiting for this.

Got so many battleships in overflow thinking i could trade them in but there is a cap.

So we going to end up losing them.
