INCOMING UPDATES TO ESSENTIA
Greetings Summoners,
After evaluation, we're going to be making some additional updates to the rollout of Essentia.
We knew this transition could be hard; that's why we gave 30,000 Essentia for free on Day 1.
We recognize the rollout of this new feature has been rocky, including the communication on the conversion of resources, but we're confident that with these incoming updates, Essentia will launch in a positive space and be beneficial to all Summoners.
In addition to removing the caps on Glory & Trophy Tokens, to provide a smoother transition, we are going to do two things:
- Increase the limits on Trade-In bundles even further
- Re-enable the Glory Store and Battlegrounds Store for one month
The bundle Trade-In will increase tomorrow, however the stores will not be able to be fully enabled until next week.
This will allow Summoners to choose whether they would like to use their currency on the old stores or trade in already existing currencies toward Essentia over time. There will be a clear countdown in-game to when the stores will be removed.
The Mysterium Store is also going to be adjusted to better align with pre-existing purchase quantities for our Collectors -
You can expect to see a greater quantity of legacy resources added to the store.
As time moves on, Essentia will become the sole centralized currency for engagement rewards, but we recognize that the sudden transition has been jarring for many of our Summoners, especially those of you with an abundance of currencies.
Launching in April, there will be a daily engagement event that will reward Essentia each day, to ensure you have strong purchase power for Essentia moving forward. In the future, more game modes will be added as another consistent source of Essentia, and Radiance & Essentia will work hand-in-hand as the two major earnable currencies in The Contest, where you can choose which content you wish to play, and be rewarded for your efforts.
