Abyss Darkhawk Ambush?

It’s been a while since I did the abyss, but I remember it being totally different. Used to have different tiles etc. I started it and got ambushed by this Darkhawk, instead of making my way to Red Hulk. Has the quest been totally overhauled?

Speaking of which, do you know what “Epoch of Pain - True Olympian” is? It’s called “Epoch of Pain - God of War” for me. Is there a new epoch difficulty releasing? It’s going to be all fights back to back isn’t it? Haha

There is a new Epoch quest coming, and yeah, like you guessed, it's Gauntlet-styled. Not in the "you switch champion after every fight" sense (you get a team of five for the entire quest), but with all of the previous Epoch fights one after another and then Ares at the end.

Epoch of Pain ‘Gauntlet’, it’s all 25 bosses on a single path (including ares)
