Avengers Doomsday opens on almost the same day as the start of Banquet 2026
Which means BIG money for Marvel and Kabam
WHALE SPENDING
I observed that whale spending can be divided into 2 categories
1 time Whales and Familiar Whales
Familiar Whales are the whales we know, they play the game, they are on top of the leaderboard for account rating
1 time Whales are the big spenders who come and go every year
You might remember SuperbroZ from 2024, I can’t remember the names from 2025 banquet but you get the idea
These whales exist bcos banquet has lower barrier to entry (Thronebreaker)
Kabam Crashed said it himself, banquet is when thronebreakers get to participate with Valiants in getting nice rewards
Remember Thronebreaker does not even require playing the game (Story Quest)
All you need to do is to rank up champions
2026 banquet will attract A LOT OF 1 TIME WHALES bcos of the Avengers Doomsday effect
RDJ is a proven box office magnet, Avengers Doomsday will easily hit 2 billion box office
The spillover effects are that some people will look for games related to Marvel
They will start playing in 2026 and be ready for Banquet 2026 as Thronebreaker and above
Among them are whales so Kabam is getting ready to net some big whales during Banquet
DARK CLOUDS IN THE HORIZON
Major energy shock as an important waterway for energy shipment is currently too dangerous for passage
The price of Oil went up from $60 to $100
Pump prices are going up
You need trucks to transport food around so cost of living goes up as well
Some players may cut down on non essential spending like mobile games
Many countries rely on natural gas from the Middle East for electricity generation so prolong closure of the Straits of Hormuz will impact electricity supply in many countries
The worst case scenario is that many players will be unable to play mobile games bcos of electricity blackout in their countries
It is an ongoing development but the impact on MCOC will likely be manageable
CONCLUSIONS
MCOC will have no problems continuing on in 2027 as Banquet 2026 is very likely to break 2025 Banquet’s record in every aspect
More points will be scored
More crystals will be bought
More revenue will be coming in
