Ascended Borders Look Worse

The new Ascended character borders look far less ‘special’ compared to the old purple gradients. Honestly, the purple gradient was already good enough; clean, sharp, and fitting. Instead, they replaced it with this strange pink tone that looks completely awful. It completely ruins the visual appeal, and right now it looks terrible. Maybe if they had wanted to emphasize the Ascended status, they could have kept the same texture style as the purple gradient but used a fiery amber orange. That would have looked unique, powerful, and fitting for something meant to stand out. Instead, the current design looks cheap and out of place.

Nah the ascended borders are actually fine. Thank God they didnt go back to that original 7* border with dark purple and green crystals on the edge. Horrendous.

I like the color. I just think it should be more prominent. It blends in too much with the base 7* border arm

I don't mind it, but I think I'd prefer if they kept the 7* border colour but added the crystalline edges and the gold bar running down the center. A visual as if the 7* border we have just, starts bursting with ISO energy. What they went with is fine IMO, just seems a little weird since they're still technically 7* and previous ascension didn't change the borders like that.

They really didn't even need to change the border color. The royal purple border was beautiful, and complemented the 7*'s very well. It's vibrance added a pop of color.

When 7*'s were first released, I saw a lot of compliments for the purple border. Now we have this bubble gum color mix.

Imo some gold lining would have been better. It keeps the original 7* aesthetic without taking away from it.

Ascension process, ascension border color....they're changing too much with the 7*'s.

It should’ve had a deep gold flame effect on it. Potent and maybe a bit gaudy, but I think it’d look cool. Same purple tho, love that shad
