Now I have a burning follow up question that cant be asked in a non obnoxious way because my thread is closed.

Why wasn't essentia held another month or so so it could be launched (without being a big mess) and with everything updated together so we can have the full and proper picture and experience instead of this messed up convoluted release structure?
No one would have complained if we waited another month or 2 for essentia. Every new piece of information about this currency is worse than the last

Like if there were plans for this then why wasnt everything in the plan? Who makes these plans?

Is it 4 separate guys who dont communicate with each other? Do they get a launch window of spring 2026 and just guess which month it's supposed to be and never bring it up after that?

They wont even tell us how much essentia we will be earning in events. @Kabam (Osaurus) Rex Why cannot that be communicated? If the team doesnt know yet, we have an even bigger mess. Can anything be communicated this is the time to tell us, coming out with an apology post isnt communicating or improving communicating at all.

Dont worry you will earn a million more of it before its actually replaced. This entire essentia thing is embarrassing. They will sell you all the odins you want but spending currency we already have earned would create an unfair advantage LOLOLOL, you really cannot make this up.

All of these trade in values are horrible. I'm in a retired alliance, but I cannot imagine the people competing and spending money for top tier rewards which is basically only worth a 3rd of what it is right now when you go to exchange it. Its absolutely a ripoff.

Kabam (Osaurus) Rex

The update was initially planned to go live this week alongside Essentia in AQ, and with the next Battlegrounds season. With the old stores coming back online for another month, the update for the Weekly Event was delayed until next month.

The options were:
1. Not having a Weekly Super Event until next month
2. Continuing the Weekly Super Event until the update next month

Since the Trade-In of old resources will be live for the foreseeable future, and the old stores are coming back, giving more value in the interim felt like the very easy decision here.

I pointed that out to the mods a few months ago. Not sure if they did anything about it (or why those players can't just be outright banned) or not. With that post, that person was also just shadow-banned, so the picture was already in the post, so it could be the case that the photo is there because it was already there.

Glory limit was removed. Of which, Glory and BG stores will be coming back (latest comment said hopefully tomorrow) for a month to use those resources there instead of as slowly-converted Essentia.

I read "unfair advantage" to mean unfair to Kabam, not unfair to players.

Same way Kabam instantly fixes "unfair" bugs that benefit the players, but doesn't care about stuff that hurts the players.

this cannot be a serious response. It only gives us the value we currently have, you basically are admitting the value after the stores are cut off and we are only left with the trade in option which lowers the value. You are resetting the currency that we all have earned for months and years. All of our effort is being devalued.

3. Let the update go live this week as planned.

This option was probably not considered at all. Not sure why every decision has to be peppered with unpopular choices.

They gave us glory for the Essentia screw up, and the the store will not reset the entire time its open for 25 days so the price will not reduce weekly as it did before. They screw the player base with every turn.
