Ordeal Hero attempt - team planning help

I have never attempted any long-form content, the only ones that I tried are AW Showcase in terms of "difficult" fights. So this will be my first Ordeal attempt...

This is my planned team/fights:

Possible swaps:

Photon (for Sassy? and will she will have advantage against Thanos for SP3?)
Karolina (purely since she's R4 instead of Medusa who's R3)
Hulk (for Doom and Thanos though he's R2)

Or any other possible characters to change before my attempt?

I'd personally say if this is your first long form/Carina's, wait until villains is out tomorrow. You probably have better villains ranked for the challenge than heroes (and it should be easier with the champs available too)

Yup, my villains team is good according to the guides (I have Serpent, Onslaught, Scorp, AbsMan and Sentinel/Sinister at R4 sig 200).

But strictly basing it on my hero team, is there any specific failure point. I'm just seeing how far I can go to get the 7* Maestro since I'm not gonna do Necro exploration when completion itself is far away for me…

I would bring photon over spider woman in all honesty. I think she just handles a lot of the fights better. And she'll do mojo much better than kushala. Photon can also do vision very easily since she has taunt access from sp2. And okoye can do nightcrawler very easily because of her ensnare.

So if you brought photon instead of spider woman, you could also swap out medusa for someone. But keep in mind you'd need a poison immune for ibom.

I don't know enough about Medusa, but that vision requires a taunt to get him to use his specials and not get to sp3 which is instant death. If you put the antman relic on spiderwoman and make sure you have the one where it puts a taunt on when applying a power sting then you should be good. And if that's the case then Medusa is only in for 1 fight so you may replace her with a more versatile champ to help out on the tougher fights.

I would swap Medusa for Hulk, and just use one of two revives for Vision. Hulk can do more than Medusa in ordeal. But the team looks good (similar to mine )

I brought Jean Grey, Kushala, Prowler, Medusa, and Hulk. Your team might work, but I would switch out spider woman for a mystic without buffs, like Photon or Hulk. But it seems okay

I had same team just quicksilver instead of medusa and I did it in 12 revives excluding thanos. OP bring quicksilver your team doesn't have counter for dragon man and mojo

Jean can do dragonman, and kushala can technically do mojo. But I think he should bring his r4 photon over his r3 qs, since photon can also do both + vision.

I already did mine, and villians is also essential done as well [camped at Thanos]. I didn't suggest Sparky because OP didn't have him, and I would still stand by the fact of using Hulk instead of Sparky because Hulk covers more for Ordeal, and you can just deal massive damage with Hulk with little thought if you want to spend a couple revives on the fight [and with the amount of revives Kabam gives us, why not]. But Sparky is a good option too.

Cheeilth - doom, modok, thing, void, km

Ham - vision, dm, mojo

Gentle - ham, gwen

Nico - terrax, korg, bpcw (turn on buff immunity), ibom (turn on poison immunity and incinerate dmg)

Shuri - weapon x, nc, apoc, sasquatch

Apart from korg… solo pretty much everyone else… as for thanos… 4 to 5 team rev should be done..

An update, I took @willrun4adonut's advice regarding running villain ordeal first and I got a feel of the Ordeal fights with it.

My team was Sinister, Serpent, Scorp (all R4 sig 200), Venom (R3 and synergy for Scorp) and Arnim Zola (R2, strictly for synergy with Sinister).

I'm a noob when it comes to long-form and Sinister was my MVP all the way. I shudder to think of the heroes run since Sinister helped me save so many revives (…and I spent around 20 of them…).

Will prepare and look through the comments before going into the heroes run…

Hulk is a best, especially if you have 20% revives and just want to spam revive. You can go for a sp3 - sp1 stun lock. That should kill almost everyone Hulk can take with one revive (since yours is a rank 2). It makes the game play easier if you just want it done. You can also farm 20% revives from class variant Spidey 3.2 (the one with miles as a boss). But since variants are going away with the next update, this strategy is time limited.
