OVERVIEW

Greetings Summoners,

Battlegrounds Season 37 is rolling out with a set of experimental changes, beginning with a Pre-Season designed to shake up the Defender champion meta by heavily favoring Saga-tagged defenders. During this time, we're keeping the Deck Size increase.

Here are the key structural changes:

• Pre-Season (Starting Mar 18)
  • Increased Deck and Ban Expansions remain: 40 champions in your deck and 5 bans per match.
    
  • Increased Rerolls remain: 3 Rerolls per match.
    
  • Saga-tagged Defender Focus (Saga Control Buff): All non-saga champions, on defense, take 5% of their health a second as direct damage.
    
• Regular Season (Starting Mar 25)
  • Deck and Ban Expansions: Returning to normal with 30 champions in your deck and a limit of 3 bans per match.
    
  • Rerolls: Returning to the standard of 1 Reroll per match.
    
  • Saga-tagged Defender Focus: Removed.
    
  • ⚠️ Known Issue ⚠️
    • Action Required: Its recommended to reboot the game when the new season begins to matchmake.
      
    • Impact: Failure to reboot may result in error messages and a correction of your deck size if above 30 champions upon matchmaking or saving your deck.
      
    • Resolutions:
      • We are working on an improved system for future seasons that will handle these deck size transitions more smoothly and provide clearer, more informative error messages.
        
      • The Pre-Season will end roughly one hour before the launch of the Season to ensure a clean swap.

REWARDS

A NEW REWARD TYPE - ESSENTIA

• Victory Track and Alliance Event Trophy Token rewards were swapped to Essentia, the new reward being rolled out this month.
  
• Solo Objective Trophy Tokens will be swapped update when the Pre-Season goes live.
  

THE NEW EMOTE

• Upon completing Vibranium 1 and reaching the Gladiators Circuit, you will receive the ♠️Bullseye Ace♠️emote!
