BG rewards have been secretly nerfed

I just noticed that the amount of essentia in bg rewards is lower than what it should be, I mean if we consider the ratio of essentia/bg tokens = 35/100 we should have got way more essentia than what is in the rewards now.
For example in the 2 day objective the win 1 match used to give 200 bg tokens which is worth 70 essentia with the trade but now the objective gives only 40 essentia.
Same thing for victory track rewards, we were getting 3k trophy tokens for every rank in diamond, which is worth 1050 essentia with the trade in essentia store but now we only get 500 essentia for every rank.
I want answers from kabam for this scam, essentia store prices are not so much lower than old bg store to have a similar reduction in rewards. I used to be able to buy way more stuff with one season of trophy tokens in the old bg store than with this essentia rewards in the new essentia store and at this point I don't want essentia anymore, its only been a scam for now

I have been saying since the start. Essentia is all about resetting the value of currency for everyone. Years of saving, time and commitment to this game and they just ripped us all off.

Figured we’d see about 33K based on the offseason 70 vs 200, 1/3rd. Instead we got less the 1/5th, from 95K BG tokens to about 16K essentia.

So is the new value of essentia better then only getting 17% exchange rate?

The current trade in is 100 tokens for 35 correct? 35%

The plan was never to help the player base. It was to lower the amount of items we can get and sell more resources.

No, it was to consolidate many currencies into less.

Now, the value of Essentia isn't the same as straight 1:1 because you have different items available, and the trade-in isn't a good comparison because that's been specifically balanced to control the amount people have.

Whether we like that fact or not is not up for me to debate, but this isn't some kind of nefarious plan to deprive Players. That's ludicrous.

did you read the top of the thread…? We have an established exchange rate for BG tokens to essentia. That was set by Kabam. Using the exchange rate, we are getting less rewards (in essentia) than we were before (BG tokens) for the regular BG milestones as you climb VT.

Call it whatever you want, but you now receive less value for your effort.

New system 16,810 Essentia.

Is this just more "poor tuning"? Otherwise its just the other thing. They did manage to give us 20% cut on the BG ranked rewards from 10K tokens to 2K essentia. Still missing they could have revived the BG ally points mode with ranked essentia payouts (another story).

If people don't get why we think its a shaft, they set the tone at 35%, now they say here is 17%. Enjoy!!

My point was that in the essentia store the price for lots of stuff was decided based on the bg store and converted with the 35:100 ratio, like t3 basic alloy was 1400 bg tokens, which converted with that ratio is 490 essence and in the essence store it costs 500 essentia so it’s fair price if we would get same amount of essentia as it was with bg tokens with 35:100 ratio.

Problem is now we’re getting essentia with a 17:100 ratio, that means that t3 basic alloy now effectively costs double of what it was before and essentia store is the only place where you can buy it, so essentially if you want to buy that item you get scammed and pay double price than what I was used to pay, understand now why I think this change is a scam by kabam?

Yeah it's really bad and feels really bad. I have no confidence someone actually sat down and thought about how much essentia this is compared to bg tokens.

BUT

This is just "supposed" to be one part of the amount of essentia we're allowed to earn per month. We're still treating it as a separate currency/reward to other modes that would reward essentia at the moment which is incorrect.

There is one simple trick that kabam doesnt know about that could have alleviated all of this confusion and outrage.

WAIT TO RELEASE ESSENTIA UNTIL EVERYTHING IS READY.

This **** is a **** mess and probably the worst handled rollout in the history of the game with 7* ascension on its coattails.

Maybe people like brazilian fish monkey, who likes bein scammed and even celebrates it, are happy but not only this type of conversion also all thing related with the essentia have been a disaster.

Totally agrre with Nuts, this is the worts rollout of the history and I don´t think that they are going to improve anything.
