2026 Spring Cleaning and HoF event?

So what's everyone's best guesses as to what the Spring Cleaning chase champ in April will be, and which champs will be in the May Heart of Fire event assuming it returns (i think it may as kabam like money)? I would love too see Archangel, Ghost, CGR, and Doom in any of these events

I don't think they want to release all the top champions with this event, but they will save champs like Doom, AA and CGR for banquet. Still hoping for great champs like

Mutant: Red Magneto

Skill: Aegon

Science: Captain America rework

Mystic: new chase champion

Cosmic: Hercules (we will se how good they make him with the fix coming this month, following armor pen issue, but still not sure he's better than CGR as of right now)

Tech: Ghost

If they dont release CGR in the heart of fire event I will be very angry. Him and ghost (and sort of doom) are the only champs left that I care about. Even if CGR was a 40k unit champ, Id spend that much for him

I think if they skim by on champs that don't matter much like red mags and cap america, not many people will spend. I can see Red Mags for the spring cleaning, but I can deffinetly see them giving champs like ghost, cgr and AA this year as last year we got bloody NF, FantMan, Tigra, Dark Pheonix, Apoc and Ibomb. Can see Kate for Banquet as chase champ, maybe even July 4th

Dp cleaning has always been a skip for me. Hopefully heart of fire isnt as bad. The unit grind and suck is real.

I have the big feeling that this year’s heart of fire won’t have any champs that are 6 lock to his 7 version. With ascension , Kabam can make exclusive ascension champs crystals for this event like Domino, Prowler, Galan, Spider ham, Shathra and Black Cat plus add ascension materials for Dark Phoenix.

That's my expectation as well. Whoever keeps being so scared of the remaining 6* champs needs to get over themselves.

I also believe this to be true and have heard this said.

Simply put, Kabam no longer has to sell new champions in the big sale events..This big sales can just be headlined by ascension materials for champions you already have, like Serpent or Kushala or Nick Fury or Onslaught.

Because in that event, you are no longer missing out on a new champion if you don't spend. You are instead having your own favorite champ lose value and become weaker if you don't buy their ascension materials.

That is a very powerful and coercive monetization strategy.

They might even do it so the first $500 gets you the base champ and an extra $500 gets you ascension 2.0 + First Appearance.

I think that whatever the April event is, it'll be an accension event. There are still a handful of champs who could make the jump from six to seven but accension is the new hotness. I think big bucks to get and a A2 Dark Phoenix is a good call though. For the low price of $1200 worth of units (practically giving it away) you can have a A2 rank 5 Dark Phoenix. Huzzah

With the Epoch carina challenge coming up, I could absolutely see the spring cleaning chase champ being Aegon.

I’ve posted this before but my deepest hope is that they do a classic rework Omega Days/HoF event and make champs like Capt America, Wolverine, and Black Widow viable as top tier champs

I think Doom will come out after stellar forged Doom comes out. I am guessing this because regular star lord came out as 7* right after SF Star lord

If they try to push more mid ascension garbage for mid champs in the upcoming events, I won't spend a damn cent. I want the powerful 6* champs we have yet to recieve as 7* champs. Not the ability to upgrade champs I wouldn't otherwise use.

Expect more GAMEBREAKING champs who actually turn out to be just good. (Assuming they don’t “test” them beforehand and then ship them bugged.)

Don’t really want to see all of those champs behind a paywall. I think AA, CGR, and Doom (especially in December) would make sense to release during banquet.

Someone I would want to see is Ikaris, with a bit of a tune up. His kit has always been pretty solid imo, just used the 6* in rampant evolution this week. I think if they just brought back his incinerate burst per sp1 hit (essentially just the pre-nerf version) he would perform very well.

My "Spring Cleaning" just concluded with 7,000 units trying to obtain 7* Madelyne.

I was unsuccessful.
