With the new season, and since we couldn't test out the meta in the Off Season, due to the crazy testing Kabam was doing.
I jump in thought to try one Unranked Match.
I was was match with a beautiful account, oh gosh they had everything, so high, so shiny. I spent more time honestly and genuinely admiring their account, that I forgot we are back to 3 Ban instead of 5 (thanks again to off season 🙄), I was also genuinely thanking the fellow summoner for spending and support the game.
After the match it got me asking again, what is the point of Unranked BG Match.
I was matched with someone who is at least double my account, top end Prestige and in a different BG ranking to me.
So what meta did the game use to match my account to their. For me it is a bit of fun practice run, but for a lot of players that at lower progress and Not allow to do Ranked match, this the only space in BG they can get those "precious, rare and limited" Essentia.
I thought this was mean to match them to similar account sizes so it feel more "fair" for those players.
I can't see how this setting of Unranked Matching and Rewards encourage players to play BG more.
Did I missed something, of is this another of Kabam "we work so hard, but the results is pointless"?
