So no uproar on Kabam REMOVING the one piece of content we can consistently obtain revives from??

So as most of us know, there is a certain piece of content in the back issues that very often, provides a 20% revive on one of the paths. After all of the main story nerfs to the revive farming (Because obviously they cant remove story content), now they have the lame excuse of the content being "too old", and it being content they want to move forward from. They are doing this to remove the most consistent way we can farm revives for everest content, aswell as the units that go along with the back issues. I myself still have well over 2k units that i can collect from this content, but my extra energy lately has been focused on the revives for the new carina challenges we have had. Absolute joke that kabam are removing this from the game. Would have thought there would have been more of a community uproar on this "Back Issues" issue, but i guess after being screwed by kabam for so long people have come to expect this behaviour from them which is sad.

Next they'll remove arena......

Im surprised they waited until most of the new carina challenges would have been completed tbh, I have farmed well over 60+ revives for the last 3 challenges and next challenge aswell which would be alot of units spend which is money out of KABAM's pocket. Like they need it, the game is become so P2W its ridiculous

Me too. I haven't needed to dip into my stash at all, but they're constantly overflowing since the challenges are spaced out a week at a time (and encouraging some lazy playing since I have revives a plenty).

the new events are pretty well timed, and they give away a lot of revives if you play daily..I think I’ve got around 90 - 100 revives, and frequently they expire as they cycle.

I actually think they’ve done a really good job of removing the need to farm excessively revives. But time will tell if it remains like this..

ya they announced it can’t remember when.

they retiring the ENTIRE line of back issues. Not just the one with revives.

it’s all getting shelved. So if you want to farm the units from them etc, get them done before they go.

It's actually about an 80% drop rate. And since I have to fight Ares two times, and I'll probably be dropping 22 revives per attempt on him, I'll do it. I just can't get his specials down.

I've brought it up like a few weeks earlier whennit was announced in the livestream... it's essentially taking out a big chunk of the soul of this game. Clearly now people are finally realizing that its going away when theres like 10 days to go.

I honestly don't care that people farm it for revives, but I agree that it is another reason to not remove since farmable quests are hard to come by after the previous story quests are being revamped too that were farmable areas.

I've had all of the back issues 100% on both difficulties for awhile and it's basically saying that all the time, effort, and energy refills (an excessive amount for Volume 1 in particular) spent on these quests are disappearing like a snap from Thanos. Not too mention all the revives and health potions used when they were like Everest content when they were released. You try and tell me that Volume 8 was a cake walk when it first came out.

Even today, most players would not be able to handle some of these variant quests, so why the heck are we getting rid of it. Yes the rewards are outdated, but there also hasn't been a new Volume in at least 3 years...

@Kabam (Osaurus) Rex @KabamPinwheel theres another post I created, but like if you are going to go against the wishes of the players, at least give us something to commemorate the fact that some players were foolish enough to 100% all of these before this "idea" to remove it. I completely think it is foolish and is a disrespectful move to players that did 100% these and also disrespectful to the game to remove some of its history and basically pretend that it never existed.

Y'all can say it will be reconsidered to bring back these in the future, but to be honest, I'm calling baloney on that, because there hasn't been a new Volume in years. I think its just a move that will offend and infuriate a lot of players, and then something will be introduced with hopes that it distracts players long enough to forget that it even got removed a few months later.

i never said I could. But we get plenty of free revives per day in the daily quests and daily events, in addition to free crystals which you can save up. So I repeat, if you still need revive farming quests then that's a massive skill issue

Dude you cant be so damn dismissive and condescending…. The AI and RNG in this game is legit so horrible, coupled w input issues, and yeah…. I'm not a flawless player who is without fault. So yes, i farm revives so i don't need to dip into my units so much as they are expensive with the ever growing mcoc economy.

if you spend this much time farming revives in back issues, you can now use that same time to farm units in arena and just buy revives. You'll be fine pal. There's no uproar because this isn't that big of a deal considering how many revives we get for free. Maybe one day you'll grow up and understand that you gotta earn your rewards and not just have everything handed to you. Or save free crystals for longer so you can open more at once. Or just do easier content you can handle that's more suited to your skill level. Not every piece of content is for everyone. Lots of hard truths

Mate this isn’t about me needing to earn rewards. I already do that through arena, not to mention that I’ve cleared the content. You’re just framing it that way so you can feel like you’re above it. What you’re really saying is ‘I’m fine with worse options, so everyone else should be too, which isn’t some hard truth, it’s just you trying to validate your own ego. People farming revives aren’t asking for handouts, they’re using the most efficient method available. Removing that isn’t a skill check, it’s just reducing player options. If you need to label everything a skill issue to feel like you’re on top, go for it, but that says more about you than it does about anyone else. Id also rather spend my units on the overpriced deals that kabam shove down our throat as the only way to progress in the new ascension system, provided you don't want to whale out in the game. fair point about the autofight, but i still maintain that you can autofight daily quests and still get multiple revives per day without doing back issues. so it's not a big loss at all.

it seems like you are a newer player based on the fact that you're talking about getting 800 xp like it's a big deal? i'm assuming you're somewhere early-game? instead of doing a whole side quest to farm revives, you may want to spend time ranking up champs and learning intercepting, champs abilities, etc to get through the content. you can still get 2 revives per day for free, so if you need a bigger stash, just hold them for a bit longer before doing the content. i don't think losing out on farming revives is really an issue for anyone not trying to do endgame content tbh
