They're shedding some light on this by making time the only score that matters so load times can screw you more
And where did you lose because of load time?
look at the jack vs jean matchup load time of 5 seconds , lost because of that , opponent had 2 seconds of load time , also the point was if both of us do perfect matches, I could lose basis load times .
Where's the screenshot of your opponent's match? And why add all the other screenshots that don't mean anything?
I’ve added the rest to show the variance of load times, ranging from 5 to 12 seconds.
Okay, so let's say they change it to only count for time fighting only, which is the only way to make it so loading time doesn't count.
On your next match, you finish a fight in 30 seconds. You go back to the match screen and you wait for your opponent for another 30 seconds. You both play perfectly, but you lose because your opponent had 40 seconds of loading time, so their fight only took 20 seconds. Would that be okay with you?
And what about if someone paused the fight to get a bunch of points for time back? The odds of Kabam building out a system that can tell the difference between loading and pausing is probably pretty slim.
The amount of times where loading time determines the winner of a fight are so few and far between that it almost certainly isn't worth Kabam messing with the way things are set and almost definitely making them worse. The fights are synced and they need to be synced. If your device/connection gets you into the fight slower, then you just need to hope you finish the fight that much faster.
the solution for this is basically easy, but seemingly hard for Kabam devs.
you should set the time score based on real fight time, not the loading time + fight time
easy as that - in other games it will be done in 1-2 days, here we are struggling to get a working bug-less update at least once per year.
